I used to use a build similar to this a month ago on griffon and minotaur runs. Same armor (glad) except the shield was just 16 defense -2 dmg in stance.
(These don't include runes)
8 Healing Prayers
10 Smiting Prayers
10 Axe Mastery
8 Tactics

1. Cyclone Axe
2. Watch Yourself
3. Bonettis Defense
4. Symbol of Wrath
5. Balthazars Aura
6. Dolyak Signet
7. Balthazars Spirit
8. Healing Hands

You just cast balthazars spirit on yourself near the start of the mission. Once you lure the minotaurs use cyclone axe to deal some damage and gain adreniline. Stick watch yourself and dolyak signet on and you should be taking close to 0 damage from minotaurs. Let loose symbol of wrath. Cyclone again and and get bonetti's up so you can pile up energy to use balthazars aura. If dolyak already wore off then HP might be getting quite low. Healing Hands should be enough to bring your HP back to full, meanwhlie just keep using cyclone axe until they're dead.

I'm not sure if that works as well. it takes the length of 2 Bathazars aura's to kill the majority of the griffs and minos (well some slack off until the others are dead) but yours may keep u alive longer... not sure

Cyclone Axe no longer triggers with Zealot's fire. I prefer to use this skillset:

Cyclone Axe
Bonetti's Defense
Healing Hands
Symbol of Wrath
Mending
Balthazar's Aura
Vigorous Spirit
Balthazar's Spirit

I use roughly these attributes. Not exact:

Axe Mastery: 7(+1)
Healing: 8
Strength: 10(+1)
Smiting: The rest

What really does the damage is the smiting, so I use the bare minimum on everything else. My axe takes 8 axe mastery, mending needs 8 to be at +3 regeneration, and my shield takes 11 strength.

I start the run with mending and balthazar's spirit. With balthazar's instead of live vicariously, I constantly have my max (26) mana as you gain 1 mana for each hit you take. When I get into battle, I use healing hands followed by symbol of wrath, balthazar's aura, and vigorous spirit.

From there, most griffons are near dead or dead after balthazar's runs out. I use the cyclone/bonneti's to survive until healing hands is good to go again, at which point I cast balthzar's aura and vigorous spirit once more.

I found that live vicariously is not really necessary to stay alive, so I use balthazar's spirit instead. My axe also has:

3:1 vampiric
20% longer enchantment (12 second healing hands/balthazar's aura.)

yeah i was actually going to change the build similar to that, but keep my same atrributes. i was gunna switch bathazars spirit instead of live vicarously, but i am based on my axe quite a bit so i didnt know if id survive.

nope not the thread i came upon. i googled a farming build for guild wars and i got a lot of good farming builds. i wish i couldpost a link but i dont know how i found it. the person isn't even ascended, yet is farming. i added a few things to it to enchance it. and yes zealots fire is nearly useless now.

I think you're talking about the unascended W/Mo farming guide created by Domdizzle on another site. Which happens to be pretty good. That guide was created for all the folks who aren't asecended and don't have access to elite skills or power runes. About the only real thing that was expensive was the 1.5k Glad. armor to boost energy to +25.

I too have swapped out Live Vicariously for Balthazars Spirit. The energy boost you get complements Bonettis very well. And I find Zealots is still very useful if you have a highly spammable heal like orison or heal signet. Although I haven't taken out healing breeze to try it.(It was my first real day at farming.)

So far in 3 runs I've only copped 2 golds. But a bevy of decent purples. And the money is decent. Rockshots are a pain, but if you take them out first. you'll be fine. The only real time I had any trouble was when I go out and the Monk Griffon boss was there. No way to kill him solo with the skill sets used. So I just mapped back and started over.

My skill set is identical to aB's. I use 15K gladiators with the 15K Ascalon Helmet (+1 tactics & looks good together, plus get damage reduction). I use a desert collectors Axe 15% while enchanted (customized for +20%), 3:1 vamp and +20% enchants. Shield is Malinons, +45hp while enchant, -2dmg while enchant.

Skills:

Bonettis
Cyclone Axe
Balths Aura
Symbol of Wrath
Healing Hands (E)
Vigorous Spirit
Balths Spirit
Mending

Attributes: (will check when home & edit)

Healing: 8 - need the +3 mending
Smiting: 12
Strength: 4 - isn't important with smiting
Axe: 9 - req. on my axe
Tactics: 9 - req. on my shield & almost continuous bonettis

Armor has Sup Absorption on chest, Sup Vigor on Legs, minor axe on boots, minor strength on gauntlets, minor tactics on helmet.

I cast Mending & Balths Spirit right away, and leave myself with 10 energy. I also switch to a weapon that doesn't have the -1 health regen for the run. I collect ALL the minotaurs and griffons at once, I have never died during the run (I usually have over 200hp when the fight begins). Before collecting the last group, I switch to the vamp axe.

First spell is healing hands, followed by cyclone axe, then bonettis, then vigorous spirit, symbol of wrath, cyclone axe and bonettis. Now the damage starts, cast balths aura then cyclone and bonettis. This is the point where I cycle cyclone and bonettis, while keeping an eye on balths aura and symbol of wrath.

A common mistake is for people to cycle the cyclone axe & bonettis and immediately casy a spell before cyclone is close to being ready. I wait to cast my spell when cyclone axe is almost ready to go, you need to take advantage of bonettis as much as possible. You will probably die if you cancel out bonetti's too early, with 9 tactics it is almost a non-ending cycle of bonettis for me. After the initial onslaught, my health is never even close to a dangerous level, and the damage with a high smiting level is tremendous.

The monk boss Screaming Claw drops pretty quickly for me, when he is left standing I cancel out the enchants to help me gain energy and simply wait for bonettis to charge and hit balths aura, it usually takes one or two and he's done. I think it's even better with both Featherfist and Screaming Claw at once, since Featherfist will survive a while and help get a full bonettis charge quickly. BTW, I have Screaming Claw as the attack focus from the beginning, to help counter his regen.

I think my method is about as efficient and streamlined as possible while maximizing my equipment to the fullest. My 55hp monk with SoJ and Balths Aura at 16 smiting kills em much quicker, but this run is easier with the tank.

All together the run takes about 3 - 4 min. and almost always nets a gold item for me, sometimes more. Plus, keys drop pretty regularly which I don't use in the desert. This farming run is not a secret anymore, I will show new players how to do it. The other spots I won't show

Here's the skills I use:

Cyclone - Bonetti's - Sprint - Live Vicariously - Balthazar's Aura - Symbol of Wrath - Shield of Judgment (Elite) - Vigorous spirit.

Augury doesn't give me any troubles, usually after one run of each smite spells the majority is dead. I haven't found any use for Mending or Healing breeze though and took out Zealot's Fire when it stopped been activated by Cyclone and Bonetti's.

Since I can paid for knights, and working on getting glad's, I'm a bit short of energy

Cyclone Axe | Bonetti's | Symbol of Wrath | Healing Hands | Healing Breeze | Vigorous Spirit | Balth's Spirit | Mending

I have healing and smiting I think at 10-11? Have tactivcs I think up to 9, and Axe, like 4.

The only problem to this is, that it takes longer, and if you already have devourers up and after you, you're pretty much dead. (For Griff farming outside augury rock)

The problem that I have with hundred blades is that it takes longer to charge up, and it costs more energy that can be used to cast something else.

And fighting 9 griffons and up, what armor are you using? Glad's seems the way to go.
